Recently ByteCoin has improved their marketing, revamping their website design and focusing on brand awareness. Bytecoin has not shared in the publicity that it’s other Cryptonote currencies have, most notably Monero. Recently, Bytecoin has announced an aggressive 2018 marketing strategy, targeting each global region each quarter.

Bytenote is essentially a Cryptonote clon. Very little has been done to change the code. On December 22nd, 2017, Bytecoin announced a Roadmap detailing a Q1 and Q2 API upgrade and hardfork. Little information is detailed on the announcement. Additionally the term “API” is used on the roadmap, however when diving deeper, the term API seems to be referencing the wallet. This is extremely unconventional for a developer – however it seems the core development team may not speak English as a first language.
